About - CENTENNIAL H.S. BAND & COLORGUARD

The Centennial High School Instrumental Music program features several performance ensembles, including the Husky Marching Alliance, Winter Guard, Percussion Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Concert Band, and Pep Band. We live by the motto “Excellence Always”!
We are in our 36th year of entertaining audiences throughout Southern California. The Cen10 Instrumental Music program has performed in the Hollywood Christmas Parade, Los Angeles County Fair Parade, Disneyland, Los Angeles Korean Festival Parade, American Drum Line Association Championships, Winter Guard Association of Southern California Championships, numerous CIF football championships games, SCSBOA Concert Festivals, Heritage Music Festivals, Music in the Parks, jazz festivals, and numerous field show competitions.
The Husky Marching Alliance is also an 8-time California State Band Championship Finalist.
We have sent many students to honor groups, including the All-Southern CA Honor Band, CA All-State Honor Band, John Philip Sousa Honor Band, Tournament of Roses Honor Band, Riverside County Honor Band, All-Star Invitational Band (Orange Bowl), Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Honor Band, and Cal State Los Angeles First Chair Honor Band. Students in our program also maintain an excellent grade-point average, including many members with a 4+ GPA. The majority of band & colorguard members are also enrolled in AP and/or Honors level courses. In addition to all of our performance experience, we are also experienced event hosts. Since 2004, Cen10 Instrumental Music has hosted field shows, drumline competitions, winterguard competitions, and concert band festivals.
